We are seeking a dedicated, highly qualified Infant Teacher to join our 5-star team. Qualifications To maintain our 5-star rating, candidates must meet at least one of the following educational benchmarks:
Primary Requirement:
North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (EDU 119) or equivalent.Preferred Education:
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.Certificate:
Preference is given to candidates holding a NC Infant/Toddler Certificate.Experience:
At least 2 years of verifiable experience in a licensed childcare setting (preferably 4- or 5-star).Essential Training:
- Current
ITS-SIDS
certification (Required prior to start).- Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.
- Qualifying letter from the
NC DCDEE
Criminal Background Check Unit. Key ResponsibilitiesSTEM-Infused Care:
Implement sensory-based STEM activities (e.g., cause-and-effect toys, texture exploration) and visual arts experiences tailored for infants.Responsive Caregiving:
Provide high-quality primary care, including feeding, diapering, and maintaining individualized sleep schedules.Documentation:
Maintain digital logs of developmental milestones and daily activities for parents.Environment:
