Job Summary ​Are you a visionary educator ready to lead the next generation of innovators? At ProdiGene, our Preschool program is the pinnacle of our "Childcare of the Future" model. We are looking for a Lead Teacher who can seamlessly blend STEM concepts—like early coding, engineering challenges, and scientific inquiry—with a robust Visual Arts curriculum. ​You will be responsible for preparing our 3- to 5-year-olds for kindergarten and beyond by fostering a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and creative confidence. Qualifications To maintain our 5-star rating, candidates must meet at least one of the following educational benchmarks:
    Primary Requirement:
    North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (EDU 119) or equivalent.
      Preferred Education:
      An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
        Certificate:
        Preference is given to candidates holding a NC Infant/Toddler Certificate.
          Experience:
          At least 2 years of verifiable experience in a licensed childcare setting (preferably 4- or 5-star).
            Essential Training:
            • Current
            ITS-SIDS
            certification (Required prior to start).
            • Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.
            • Qualifying letter from the
            NC DCDEE
            Criminal Background Check Unit. Key Responsibilities
              STEM-Infused Care:
              Implement sensory-based STEM activities (e.g., cause-and-effect toys, texture exploration) and visual arts experiences tailored for infants.
                Responsive Caregiving:
                Provide high-quality primary care, including feeding, diapering, and maintaining individualized sleep schedules.
                  Documentation:
                  Maintain digital logs of developmental milestones and daily activities for parents.
