Job Description

Analyst I, Supply Chain Process Improvement Position Profile The Analyst I, Supply Chain Process Improvement role leverages process improvement tools and techniques to design, develop, document, and support the implementation of standard processes. This role partners closely with Process Improvement Managers, field leaders, and cross‑functional stakeholders to drive process consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The analyst provides ongoing guidance and process improvement support to assigned functions. Job Duties and Responsibilities Leverage process improvement tools and techniques to design, develop, document, and support the implementation of standard processes. Collaborate with field resources to solicit input and feedback for changes to specific processes. Drive implementation of standard processes through field teams as directed by the Process Improvement Manager or Senior Manager. Document process changes, enhancements, and workflows as needed. Support cross‑functional process improvement initiatives as assigned. Conduct regular visits to supported field operations to evaluate performance, gather feedback, and facilitate two‑way communication. Review process flows and performance metrics to identify and drive opportunities for improved efficiency. Assist Process Owners with detailed analysis and trend reporting. Prepare presentations and participate in operational reviews as directed by the Process Owner. Provide support and input into various Ricoh corporate initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications) Four‑year college degree preferred, or equivalent business experience in a business‑to‑business environment. Minimum of three to five years of relevant business experience required. Minimum of one year of experience in a Ricoh process area or cross‑functional process analysis experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a matrix‑managed environment. General knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. Demonstrated ability to apply process improvement concepts and principles. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting, ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise levels. Work assignments are diversified and require the ability to interpret, comprehend, and apply complex information, data, and instructions. Minimal physical effort required. Work is primarily sedentary but may include walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying items weighing less than 10 pounds (e.g., papers, files, books, or small parts). Requires moderate dexterity and regular use of basic office skills, including keyboarding, calculators, and eye‑hand coordination.
