is an established, rapidly growing, veteran-owned small business providing Global Logistics and Supply Chain management, systems and analysis. We are seeking a Joint Logistics SME who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment. You will be part of a team supporting the Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC), Installations and Logistics (I&L), Logistics Current and Future Operations Branch (LPOV) Logistics Current and Future Operations Branch (LPOV) implementation of a coordinated set of initiatives in support of current and future logistics requirements enabling ongoing Marine Corps Expeditionary Logistics (EXLOG) initiatives to support future naval logistics operations and USMC operations ashore and afloat. This Logistics SME will provide analytical and technical expertise in support of the Joint Logistics portfolio programs and LP Branch support to the Joint Directorates and coordination with the other service HQ's. Ultimately, this effort will result in ready people, the right capabilities, right processes, and responsive organizations integrated across the naval service across and outside the MAGTF.
Location:
Primarily on-site, Pentagon, Arlington, VA. Periodic remote work based on space availability.
Salary:
A salary range of $150,000 - $175,000 is available for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, education, certifications, technical qualifications, security clearance, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Assist in pursuing opportunities for integrating Marine Corps logistics capabilities into a naval enterprise solution that is in compliance to the Lines of Effort identified in CMC, CD&I, and DC I&L direction and guidance. Prepare papers, briefings, orders, and other documents related to Joint Logistics Integration Portfolio activities in support of
OPNAV N4.
Support individual LP Division Branches in the development and integration of USMC and Joint logistics initiatives as part of a Joint logistics enterprise solution. Engage with USMC and OPNAV stakeholders to maintain and update listing of new logistics platform schedules planned for USMC (Build, Delivery, Transition, etc.). Identify readiness challenges with existing naval platforms and capture navy plans to address. Maintain and highlight funding profiles for new and existing platforms/maintenance plans. Support development of realistic naval logistics war games, exercises, and experiments. Support increased network capacity to improve integration, visibility, and data information sharing and collaborative logistics planning. Support improved Joint service tactics, techniques, and procedures. Support Joint assessments or OSW directed initiatives. Engage with N4L/N95 and Maritime Expeditionary Warfare (MExW) on platforms they sponsor. Coordinate with
MARFOR/MEF
SMOs to integrate new platform training objectives into MPF /GP. Provide project methodologies, facilitation, charters, POA&Ms and project monitoring, tracking and return on investment (ROI) documentation. As part of overarching process improvement support, the Joint Logistics SME will assess concepts and programs for developing distribution, deployment, and mobility efforts across Joint requirements.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science or Arts degree 8+ years of specialized experience working in military logistics and supply chain management processes and procedures at the Strategic, Operational and Tactical levels. Proven skills in planning, organizing, and leading teams for development and implementation of proposals that involve substantial resources, requirements for extensive changes in established work processes and operations Knowledge of Marine Corps structures, missions and programs for organizations involved in logistics activities. Experience in Joint capability development, PBBEA, or posture/force management. Knowledge of Marine Corps and U.S. Navy doctrine, logistics structure, processes, and naval/Joint command inter-relationships. Experience conducting analysis of new and emerging DoD, Service, Joint doctrine, concepts, strategies, and directives. Experience conducting analysis of required logistics functional capabilities, gaps, and investment recommendations across all Capability Portfolio Managers. Experience developing and reviewing ETMS2 Tasks to include integrating multiple inputs and consolidating responses (up to 3-star level tasks). Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis with respect to logistics processes to include analysis of interoperability with other service Logistics processes. Lean Six Sigma certification (or equivalent experience).
