- What You Will Do
- + Perform a detailed and complex review of cost proposals with checklists and analyze BOEs, BOMs, and other supporting proposal artifacts as required to ensure reasonableness and adequacy of proposal efforts + Generate and provide training to less experienced Material Estimators on what is required for a compliant proposals + Support the development of establishing a common material process across Raytheon's business units + Collaborate to with upper management on process improvements for estimating tools and processes + Test estimating tool enhancements to ensure they are operating correctly prior to public release + Establish and maintain strong customer, user/stakeholder and partner relationships + Lead special assignments that could include efforts to report out data, explore opportunities, look for new approaches, solve known problems, etc.

- + Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience. + Experience with Microsoft Office products (ex. - + Working knowledge of TIES-Material, MCS or ProPricer + Knowledge and experience with proposal development, price buildup, and estimating and pricing processes + Experience with federal proposal regulations including but not limited to:
FAR, DFAR, TINA
regulations as they pertain to Bid/Cost proposals + Demonstrated ability to consistently meeting deadlines in a schedule driven environment + The ability to work well in teams, with peers, and management + Prior experience developing cost proposals and providing negotiations support + Have a thorough understanding of Estimating Systems, corporate accounting structure and the ability to support Estimating System audits + Prefer direct experience with material BOEs, BOMs, and other supporting proposal artifacts + Working knowledge of SAP (PRISM) + Detail oriented + Possess strong analytical abilities + Demonstrated leadership skills or experience + Strong organization and analytical skills + Strong oral and written communication skills- What We Offer
