This role transforms data into actionable business insights, develops reporting and analytical tools, identifies opportunities to improve planning processes, and supports strategic initiatives that enable informed business decisions. The Planning Analyst collaborates across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Merchandising, Sales, and GBT to improve planning capabilities through data analysis, process optimization, and effective use of planning systems, and is accountable for delivering analytical solutions that improve planning performance, inventory management, and operational decision-making. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Essential Functions Description Analyzes planning, inventory, demand, and supply data to identify trends, risks, business opportunities, and actionable insights. Develops reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and analytical tools that support planning decisions and business performance. Translates business needs into analytical solutions by identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement. Supports inventory optimization, forecast analytics, size curve analysis, planning performance measurement, and business recommendations. Leverages Kinaxis and other planning systems to improve planning capabilities, reporting, and business processes. Partners with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, planning projects, and business analysis while communicating analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Supports ad hoc analyses, strategic projects, and evolving business priorities across the Planning organization. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field required. Minimum two (2) to three (3) years professional experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, analytics, and/or related fields. Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable business insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas. Experience analyzing business, inventory, demand, or supply chain data. Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using business intelligence tools (Power BI or similar) and SQL. Working knowledge of planning, forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain concepts. Experience working with ERP, planning, or business intelligence systems (Kinaxis, SAP, or similar). Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and process improvements Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills. Travel - Yes, up to 10% of the time.
