Automotive / Manufacturing Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to coordinate the planning, storage, and distribution of automotive products for OEM and PIA automotive accounts. This position will serve as a key customer contact, ensuring accurate order processing, on-time delivery, inventory management, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate storage and distribution of automotive products. Serve as the primary customer contact for inventory, scheduling, shipping, shortages, promise dates, and related inquiries. Process and distribute customer orders, inventory reports, shipment schedules, QA requests, labels, and rework instructions. Resolve demand, delivery, inventory, and shortage issues with internal and external teams. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive and accurate service. Respond to customer complaints and develop corrective action reports, including 8D and STR reports. Maintain accurate data within customer-specific systems and ensure report integrity. Lead meetings to address future orders, shortages, past-due orders, and inventory concerns. Support efforts to prevent obsolescence and improve supply chain performance. Monitor production, delivery, cost, and customer performance metrics. Train and develop team members on customer procedures and requirements to support 100% on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Support MMOG activities and corrective action requests.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in production planning, material planning, warehouse operations, or a related field. Fluent in English and proficient in business Spanish, including reading, typing, and speaking. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, and Word. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment. Experience with sequential manufacturing, scheduling, international business, or imports is preferred. ELPSO70
