Field Inventory Manager Medical Device / Spine Technology Carrollton, TX $90,000 - 100,000 Position Overview A growing medical device manufacturer specializing in spine technology is seeking a Field Inventory Manager to oversee inventory across its distributor and hospital network. This role is responsible for field inventory visibility, asset utilization, inventory reconciliation, and supporting distributor representatives and sales teams. The Field Inventory Manager will also use Excel extensively to organize and analyze inventory data, identify trends, and support allocation decisions. Key Responsibilities Manage field inventory across distributors, sales representatives, hospitals, and customer locations. Monitor inventory levels, product movement, set utilization, and asset performance. Use Excel to organize, analyze, filter, and reconcile inventory and utilization data. Identify stagnant, excess, missing, or underutilized inventory and coordinate corrective action. Review set performance and recommend inventory allocations, returns, and transfers. Work directly with distributor representatives and sales teams to address inventory needs and improve asset accountability. Coordinate inventory movement between territories, distributors, and hospitals. Manage and support consigned inventory, loaner sets, surgical instruments, implants, and other field assets. Conduct and coordinate physical inventory audits and reconciliations. Investigate inventory discrepancies and missing assets through resolution. Monitor aging and expiring inventory and coordinate transfers or returns when appropriate. Support inventory availability for customer and surgical case requirements. Track field inventory KPIs and identify opportunities to improve utilization and inventory accuracy. Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Shipping/Receiving teams. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in field inventory, inventory management, supply chain, logistics, or field operations. Medical device, spine, orthopedic, surgical implant, or similar healthcare experience strongly preferred. Experience with consigned inventory, loaner sets, surgical inventory, or field assets preferred. Experience working with sales representatives, distributors, hospitals, or other field-based customers. Strong Microsoft Excel skills required , including organizing, filtering, reconciling, and analyzing inventory data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with physical inventory audits and reconciliations. Strong communication and relationship-management skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage inventory across multiple locations. Experience with ERP, inventory management, or asset-tracking systems preferred. Work Environment Full-time position based in the Carrollton, TX . Periodic travel to hospitals, distributor locations, and other field inventory locations may be required for audits, reconciliations, and operational support.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
