Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HAZMAT Chemical and Gas Professional to join our semiconductor manufacturing team. This role is responsible for the safe and compliant management, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials and gases. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of DOT HAZMAT, Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) regulations, and a strong background in vendor management, KPI development, and compliance with international fire and building codes. This position plays a critical role in leading logistics and safety initiatives, managing material vendor performance, and ensuring operational excellence through efficient processes, detailed reporting, and cross-functional team engagement.

Role and Responsibilities Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:

Apply supply chain management principles, statistical analysis, and inventory optimization methods to establish and monitor operational metrics and KPIs. Support raw material and hazardous materials management in compliance with DOT, EH&S, and site SOP requirements. Oversee daily logistics operations, monitor workflow execution, and serve as a technical subject matter expert for raw material processes and SOPs. Utilize SAP/ERP systems for materials planning, inventory tracking, discrepancy resolution, root-cause analysis, and operational reporting. Coordinate specialized raw material shipments and monitor delivery through receipt to maintain target inventory levels and support continuous fab operations. Respond quickly to raw material supply disruptions, serving as a liaison between Procurement, suppliers/logistics partners, and end users to minimize operational impact. Lead cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives to identify process gaps, streamline systems and workflows, and execute improvements within defined timelines. Skills and Qualifications Here's what you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Logistics, or a related field. Military service and education in similar field may substitute for education and work experience requirements. Associate's or college degree. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hazardous materials management in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.

DOT, IATA, IMDG

Hazmat shipping certification a plus. The current base salary range for this role is between $84,000 - $135,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
