Senior Logistics AnalystChantilly, VA The Senior Logistics Analyst must exhibit good judgment in interfacing with all government and contract personnel, providing proper examples of work performance, and adherence to professional standards and operational and security guidelines as defined by the Government customer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support end-to-end procurement, vendor relations, and logistics operations in strict compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Foreign Affairs Manual (FAM) standards, and governing corporate policies. Conduct market research to identify qualified vendors, issue Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and secure competitive, single, or sole-source pricing for complex Bills of Materials (BOMs). Evaluate bids and negotiate optimal pricing, delivery schedules, quality standards, and terms with suppliers. Track purchase orders from initial request through final delivery—proactively resolving delays, logging vendor or order issues, and settling disputes concerning damage claims, rejections, returns, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering changes. Draft thorough acquisition documentation to ensure full regulatory and audit compliance. Track project spending and cost allocations against approved budgets. Interface regularly with internal cross-functional teams, external suppliers, and government or customer representatives. Manage procurement data across SharePoint and core enterprise tools. Provide warehouse and inventory control support, along with other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of procurement and logistics experience. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, with strong Excel skills for data, cost tracking, and analysis Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, and the ability to work independently. Experience in customer service. Must be able to travel at least 25%.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field. Experience preparing government acquisition documentation.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have an active U.S. Secret clearance.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
