Description:
Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) LLC is seeking Supply Analyst to support the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) Facilities and Acquisition, Logistics Directorate (FALD), Logistics Support Services contract. This position requires the supply analyst to perform item inventory stock control, materiel financial planning, funds control, requirements computation, allowances determination, research, and identification of supplies and equipment; Administer supply chain and materiel management demand processing, perform and monitor materiel requisition management (and procedural application) of manual and or automated inventory control actions; coordination of equipment distribution and final disposition of end of life assets IAW PFPA and Defense Logistics Agency guidance and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Compute and accumulate data for use in analysis; help develop work standards and methodology; conducts inventories, and reconciles inventories within DPAS, while ensuring timely and accurate administrative adjustment corrections of discrepancies in DPAS the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR). Prepare, analyze, and evaluate reports, procedures, and policy data; and operate supply systems and activities to provide the necessary equipment and supplies for PFPA operations. Perform supply materiel management aggregation functions. Coordinate material support and have knowledge of materiel management activities (supply chain network, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), work sequences, and schedule. Maintaining liaison with inventory managers, contractors or vendors, and planning organizations to schedule or advise as to timing of procurement, delivery, or emergency transportation; compute requirement, determine allowance, and research and identify supplies and equipment requirements. Perform operations involved in storage, inspection, identification, and receipt of property; and plan and determine the distribution and positioning of supplies among major supply stations, stock points, or using activities. Ability to communicate concisely and accurately in technical matters; execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives. Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset (i.e. - pivot tables, filters, advanced formulas, macros, external data sources, automation, MS Office Integration, etc.).
Qualifications:
AA degree and minimum of three years of experience in technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, lifecycle management, issue, receipt, etc.) related to depot support, local, or other supply support activities. ILO education, a minimum 4 years of logistics and supply experience within DoD (or USG) utilizing APSR systems such as
GCCS-A, ALMSS, DPAS.
Must have secret or higher clearance.
