Key Responsibilities:

Order, receive and process within manufacturing software raw materials and consumables needed for operational effectiveness Assemble on hand stock parts into a production kit for assembly using the defined BOM (bill of materials) Maintain accountability of XSOF inventory by performing cycle counts or EOY (end of year inventory when required) Able to operate comfortably within manufacturing software program (MRP) and ability to learn to perform daily materials and kitting tasks Perform or ability to learn assembly engraving and serial number identification using laser engraver and label maker software when required Perform supplier purchase order follow up for orders raw materials and consumables to confirm or adjust delivery schedule and identify those materials that will affect scheduled dates and up channel that information with gating dates Able to assemble kit status information weekly for Materials Manager for information exchange to Production Planner and Chief Operation Officer (COO)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Basic counting ability to work in metric (meters) and standard (feet) when required Strong attendance and work ethic required due to production schedules that must be maintained to satisfy our commitment to our customers Computer skills basic Microsoft Office suite programs when applicable Strong analytical skills with the ability to multitask with BOM's needed for production schedule Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with strong attention to detail.

Education:

High School Diploma, preferred. Must be able to read and write English.

Experience:

Experience in supply chain field or warehouse storage

Full time:
