Job Summary The Aggregate Operations Manager oversees the operations of regional aggregate mine sites. • 135k DOE Responsibilities
• Responsible for mine planning, safety, environmental matters, cost control, production and maintenance for assigned aggregate operations
• Responsible for mine planning and mining process
• Document production statistics and produce reports as required
• Supervise production operations; manage team
• Responsible for maintaining all plant equipment
• Communicate with local community as required
• Participate in the capital and operating budget processes
• Maintain working relationships with all departments to ensure work objectives can be met
• Develop plans to work towards improved performance and lower operating costs
• Participate on the safety committee Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred Requirements/Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience running an aggregate site
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of surveying
• Project management experience
• Commitment to safety
• Strong computer skills
• presentations and reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of SAP Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
