The CST will scrub a wide range of surgical cases including orthopedics, spine, total joints, general, vascular, urology, GYN, trauma, and robotics . Key Responsibilities Prepare sterile fields, instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures. Provide scrub support for complex inpatient surgical cases . Scrub General, Orthopedic, Spine, Total Joint , Vascular, Urology, GYN, Trauma, and laparoscopic procedures. Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures. Perform instrument counts, specimen handling, and surgical safety procedures. Support robotic procedures, including Da Vinci Xi cases. Assist with case turnover and maintain surgical equipment and supplies. Float between the Main OR and Outpatient Surgery Center as needed. Requirements 2+ years of Surgical Technologist experience

• HARD STOP TOTAL JOINT

• HARD STOP BLS

• Required CST certification: NBSTSA or NCCT
• Required Inpatient OR/scrubbing experience required.

Experience with General, Ortho, Ortho/Spine, Total Joints, Urology, GYN, Vascular, and laparoscopic cases. Da Vinci Xi experience required. First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of experience . SPD experience preferred but not required. Epic experience preferred. Schedule Details 3x12-hour days Possible shifts include 6:30 AM-7:00 PM, 9:30 AM-10:00 PM, or 10:30 AM-11:00 PM On-call required Approximately 3 weekday call shifts and 2-3 weekend call days per 6-week pay period, based on staffing Weekend coverage required and may exceed every other weekend 30-minute on-call response time Weekend/holiday call may include 7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 AM-7:00 AM No block scheduling Float to Outpatient Surgery Pavilion as needed Local candidates accepted within 50 miles RTO must be submitted with profile 40 hours of orientation Free parking Apply Today Apply now for the CST Travel Contract in Apple Valley, California with Providence Saint Mary Medical Center.
