Job Description

Marquette Mineral is seeking a skilled and safety-driven Crushing Foreman to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced quarry environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and team performance. The successful candidate will oversee daily crushing operations, support crew development, and ensure efficient, high-quality production throughout our operating season.

New Schedule:
10-11-hour shifts, Monday-Friday with occasional weekend and night work as required. Working 50-55 hours per week. Typical season runs from March until December annually.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Uphold Marquette Mineral's safety standards and comply with all regulatory requirements (MSHA, OSHA, EGLE). Lead, organize, and support the production crew and third-party contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. Maintain production targets by optimizing plant feed materials and ensuring products meet specification. Handle administrative tasks including timely completion of timecards and paperwork. Support hiring, training, and performance management for quarry employees while ensuring adherence to company policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard free work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Experience as a Supervisor or a relevant leadership role Previous experience working in a quarry, sand & gravel pit or similar environment Ability to work quickly, efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of safety and environmental protocols and procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Capable of working in stressful situations.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a construction industry environment. Physically demanding manual labour in dusty, noisy, and uneven environments. May involve long shifts (10+ hours), including weekends and nights as needed.
