- What you'll do
- Team Leadership & Management
- + Direct and supervise the daily activities of the traveling directional drill crews.
- Project and Production Oversight
- + Ensure Foreman and Supervisors are knowledgeable regarding the scope of a job and its contract.
- Equipment & Operations
- + Monitor equipment location and utilization. + Complete all equipment scheduling, including maintenance and procurement, using cost vs benefit analysis. + Train new and existing employees in directional drill operation, procedure, and process. + Monitor work and quality control programs to ensure compliance with contract terms and quality standards.
- Safety & Compliance
- + In coordination with the Safety & Health Specialist, communicate and enforce safety initiatives and DOT compliance. + Ensure all environmental requirements are met, including obtaining permits and all required training is conducted prior to starting a job. + Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
- What you'll need
- + Minimum of 5 years directional drill experience preferred, or a minimum of 5 years construction management experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Travel is required.
- + Must maintain a current DOT health card certificate. + Must maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record. + OSHA 30 certification required. + Class A CDL license is preferred.
