Responsibilities:
Develop and foster client relationships to grow ESP's presence in Raleigh and the eastern NC region Lead the practice to set and achieve profitability and growth goals Take ownership of the department's overall performance (P&L) Lead invoicing and revenue recognition for the department Review and have familiarity with project contracts and engage in contract negotiations, as necessary, with assistance from counsel Effectively manage client base, interaction, and satisfaction Business development and assistance with marketing of clients including networking and active participation in professional development opportunities Ensure quality service, consulting, and deliverables in a timely and efficient manner Prepare and/or review proposals and technical reports Serve as a technical leader, as necessary Train and mentor Staff and Technicians Collaborate with and support other ESP disciplines and service lines in the Raleigh marketQualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required. If registered in other states than North Carolina, individual must have the ability to obtain reciprocity in NC within 6 months Must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering, Materials Testing and/or Special Inspections Displays strong technical skills in either Geotechnical Engineering or Testing/Inspection Results-oriented individual with superior skills in organization, planning and attention to detail Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills Displays strong leadership and personnel management skills Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills that will allow you to effectively and professionally interact with clients, approval authorities, governmental officials and the public. Familiarity and understanding of risk management and loss prevention. Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with deadlines and ability to adjust to project priorities and demands of multiple clients. Intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Office, Teams, SharePoint and relevant technical software required), including the ability to learn various types of company / client software Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy.Corporate Information:
