Schedule:
Tuesday through Friday mornings, 3-4 hours per visit, twice a week (approximately 6-8 hours/week) About the Role Brookwood Golf Club is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Comptroller to manage the full accounting function for our community association, which includes Golf and Pool Memberships and HOA operations. This is a great opportunity for a self-directed accounting professional looking for flexible, part-time hours with meaningful responsibility. Responsibilities Perform all accounting functions for two separate entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, light collections, payroll, and account reconciliation Mail annual statements for Golf Memberships, Pool Memberships, and HOA Dues Maintain the monthly ACH payment program Prepare monthly budget reports and work closely with the Director of Operations and Council to ensure expenses align with budget expectations Attend monthly Council meetings Correspond with real estate agents, title companies, and new homeowners regarding home sales and purchases Coordinate annual election mailings Facilitate 1099 mailings and the workman's compensation audit Communicate with the CPA regarding tax matters Qualifications Prior accounting/bookkeeping experience, ideally with HOA, community association, or membership-based organizations Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple entities and deadlines Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and Council members Ability to work independently and attend monthly Council meetings Job Details Pay
