We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Fundraising Coordinator to help grow the revenue of a mission-driven Christian ministry in the Phoenix area — and we've built this role for someone who wants to own their results and be rewarded for them. This is a high-autonomy, high-reward position for a confident self-starter. You'll secure corporate sponsorships, cultivate major donors, coordinate standout fundraising events, and build a development pipeline that's truly yours to run. The focus is corporate sponsorship, and your success is measured where it counts: in dollars raised and lasting relationships built. The ideal candidate is comfortable making the direct ask, disciplined about follow-up, sharp at managing a pipeline, and personally aligned with the values of the ministry. Experience in the Christian nonprofit and ministry world is a real plus, as is familiarity with the Christian music industry — including the Christian hip-hop and rap community, its artists, labels, tours, festivals, and the sponsors active in that space. Existing relationships there will help you hit the ground running, though they're a bonus, not a requirement. What You'll Own Build and drive your own pipeline of corporate sponsors and business partners across the Phoenix market Craft and pitch compelling sponsorship packages, proposals, and tiered giving opportunities tailored to each prospect Lead outreach, meetings, and presentations to land new sponsorships and in-kind support Manage sponsor fulfillment so every promised benefit — logo placement, recognition, reporting — is delivered on time Renew and grow existing sponsor relationships year over year through great stewardship and impact reporting Build and manage your own portfolio of individual major donors and prospects Move donors through the full cycle: identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship Make direct, personal asks for major gifts Keep clean, accurate donor records, contact history, and pipeline status Ensure timely acknowledgment, tax receipting, and thank-you communication for every gift Plan and execute fundraising events, benefit concerts, banquets, and donor gatherings from concept through follow-up Manage event budgets, vendors, venues, and timelines Secure event sponsorships, ticket and table sales, and in-kind donations Coordinate volunteers, event staff, and day-of logistics Maintain a written fundraising plan and calendar aligned to your annual revenue goal Report pipeline and revenue progress to leadership on an agreed cadence Represent the ministry at community events, networking functions, and partner meetings Support marketing and communications tied to fundraising campaigns and appeals Keep all fundraising activity compliant with federal and Arizona charitable solicitation requirements Maintain strict confidentiality around donor information, giving history, and organizational matters Schedule & Availability Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Flexibility for evenings and weekends around events, donor meetings, and campaign deadlines Local travel within the Phoenix metro for donor and sponsor meetings Occasional out-of-area travel Compensation & Benefits On-Target Earnings of $100,000 annually at full attainment of your written goal — with real upside for top performers $45,000 - $50,000 base salary depending on experience, paid bi-weekly 10% commission on qualified funds raised against an annual goal set in writing by leadership Formal performance reviews at 90 days and 6 months Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day Paid sick leave in accordance with Arizona law and organizational policy Accrued PTO after 90 days of employment

Health insurance and retirement plans are not currently offered with this position What You Bring Proven experience in fundraising, development, sponsorship sales, business development, or a comparable revenue-generating role A track record of securing sponsorships, closing gifts, or hitting revenue targets Excellent written and verbal communication, including comfort with public speaking and the direct ask Strong organization and the ability to juggle a pipeline, calendar, and multiple campaigns at once Proficiency with standard office applications High professionalism, integrity, and discretion in every donor and community interaction Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record Must pass a background check, reference verification, drug screening, and financial-integrity screening; signing a confidentiality agreement (NDA) is required Nice to Have Existing relationships in the Christian nonprofit, ministry, or faith-based sector Working knowledge of the Christian music industry, including the Christian hip-hop/rap space Familiarity with the Phoenix-area business and philanthropic community
