Job Description
United Way of the Greenbrier Valley is seeking candidates for a full-time Executive Director to lead, under the direction of the Board of Directors, an effective organization focused on implementing strategies to impact Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas County residents in the areas of health, education, and basic needs. Candidates should possess commitment to our mission, a high degree of energy and integrity, a strong community-based background with demonstrated participation in social service nonprofit organizations, significant experience in fiscal management, a successful record of fund-raising, and proven ability to work with staff and volunteers to develop and implement successful strategic plans. Bachelor's degree and previous non-profit experience preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.
