Job Description

Continuous Improvement Manager Location:
Andersonville, GA The Opportunity We are seeking a strategic Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager to lead, manage, and execute Operational Excellence (OE) initiatives at our Andersonville site. You will serve as the internal expert and primary driver of change, bridging the gap between shop-floor execution and senior management strategy. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for building a culture of efficiency, coaching cross-functional teams, and delivering measurable financial impact.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Execution:
Align OE initiatives with site goals; determine and deploy the best Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to maximize ROI.
Project Leadership:
Build and resource high-performing teams to deliver complex operational projects on time and within scope.
People Development:
Act as a mentor and trainer to upskill associates in Quality Approaches and modern manufacturing skillsets.
Influential Leadership:
Engage stakeholders with data-driven analysis and persuasive recommendations to keep OE concepts at the forefront of site operations.
Impact Tracking:
Continuously assess project impact (KPIs and financial savings), providing recovery plans and adjustments as needed.
What You Bring The Expertise:
A deep grasp of Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Statistical Data Analysis.
The Toolkit:
Strong proficiency in Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred).
The Business Acumen:
Ability to understand P&L statements and "monetize" operational savings.
The Soft Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority across all levels of the organization.
Education & Experience Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Sciences, or 5+ years of significant Quality Engineering experience.
Experience:
5+ years in process-driven leadership roles within Manufacturing, Industrial Services, or Supply Chain.
Track Record:
Proven success leading large-scale enterprise improvement initiatives.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience in the minerals or cement industry is a significant plus.
Tech Savvy:
