Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Risk Analyst - Operational to support fraud and transaction monitoring activities within a Financial Services environment in Blue Ash, Ohio. This Long-term Contract position focuses on reviewing system-generated alerts, examining account activity, and gathering information from internal and external sources to identify unusual transaction patterns. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, clear written communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting with a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
  • Review transaction monitoring alerts and evaluate activity that may indicate suspicious or fraudulent behavior.
  • Investigate customer account activity by collecting and analyzing information from banking records and other relevant data sources.
  • Document findings thoroughly and prepare clear written summaries to support risk-related decisions.
  • Use Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to organize data, track case activity, and support research efforts.
  • Apply sound judgment and critical thinking to identify patterns, assess risk, and escalate concerns when appropriate.
  • Work within a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Participate in required onsite training during the initial weeks and follow the established hybrid work schedule thereafter.
