Director of Therapy Operations | Inpatient Rehabilitation Lead a Growing Therapy Team | Make an Impact | Strong Leadership Opportunity Clinical Magnet, a division of ICON Medical Network , is looking for an experienced Director of Therapy Operations to lead therapy services within a highly respected inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This position works closely with therapy leadership and other hospital departments to support clinical excellence, team development, and positive patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for Therapy Operations Develop and support a strong, collaborative therapy team Establish and maintain departmental policies, processes, and standards Monitor clinical quality, productivity, documentation, and regulatory compliance Build strong relationships with nursing, physicians, hospital leadership, and other departments Support staff development, education, recruitment, and retention Use operational and financial data to support department planning and decision-making Stay current with applicable state, federal, and professional standards Support a positive patient experience and culture of clinical excellence Provide patient care when necessary, but this is primarily a leadership position with no regular patient caseload Ideal Background The ideal candidate is a proven therapy leader who has successfully managed a large rehabilitation team and understands the operational and clinical demands of an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, SNF, or LTACH will be considered.
Qualifications:
Current state license as a Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited therapy program Master's or Doctorate degree in a professional or management discipline preferred Minimum 5 years of rehabilitation experience Minimum 2 years of management/leadership experience Strong track record of leading and developing therapy teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build effective relationships across departments CPR/BLS certification preferred or as required by hospital policy Compensation & Benefits $118,000 - $131,200 base salary + hospital incentive plan Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, continuing education opportunities, flexible spending/health savings accounts, and more.
