8:00-4:00 with some flexibility
Reports To:
Regional Field Supervisor Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on, safety-conscious Field Operations & Maintenance Specialist to oversee the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and routine maintenance of their custom on-site industrial water recycling and oil/water separation systems. In this role, you will play a vital part in executing the on-site system installations, keeping equipment running at peak efficiency, performing water quality checks, and maintaining high safety standards across client facilities.
Key Responsibilities System Deployment & Setup:
Assist with the on-site delivery, assembly, and setup of modular industrial water recycling systems at client locations.
Operations & Daily Monitoring:
Conduct daily inspections and monitor system performance metrics to ensure target water recovery rates (80-85%) and proper oil/water separation.
Maintenance & Repair:
Perform routine preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, filters, and piping systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical or operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Water Sampling & Field Testing:
Collect field water samples and perform basic chemical and filtration checks to verify operational efficiency and treatment metrics.
Safety & Compliance:
Strictly follow all company safety policies, site-specific safety protocols, and California environmental regulations regarding industrial wastewater handling.
Client Interaction & Documentation:
Maintain clear logbooks of system performance, maintenance activities, and sample results. Serve as a courteous technical liaison to on-site client personnel.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
2+ years of hands-on technical or operational experience in oil & gas, wastewater treatment, industrial plumbing, mechanical maintenance, or field services.
Technical Aptitude:
Strong mechanical background with working knowledge of pumps, piping, filtration units, valves, and basic electrical controls.
Field Readiness:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Comfortable working outdoors in industrial environments.
Troubleshooting Skills:
Practical, hands-on problem-solving skills to address equipment malfunctions efficiently in the field.
Communication & Reliability:
Solid communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a field team with minimal direct supervision. Join Us.
