We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Operations to assist in leading a large-scale, multi-faceted operation supporting a high-profile entertainment and hospitality environment. This leader will oversee daily operations across overnight environmental services and hotel housekeeping, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, productivity, and client satisfaction. Position Overview The Assistant Director of Operations is responsible for the overall operational performance of the account, including workforce management, client relationships, financial performance, quality standards, and leadership development. This role requires a hands-on, strategic leader who can manage complex operations, inspire large teams, and drive continuous improvement and partners close with property leadership to drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate has experience leading large-scale housekeeping, hospitality, facilities, or environmental services operations and thrives in a fast-paced environment where operational excellence is critical. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership for large-scale housekeeping and overnight cleaning operations Oversee daily operations, ensuring service excellence, safety, productivity, and compliance with client expectations Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operational leaders, managers, and frontline employees Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, accountability, and partnership Develop and execute operational strategies to improve efficiency, quality scores, and overall performance Manage labor planning, staffing levels, scheduling, and workforce optimization Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and implement improvement plans Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures Partner with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams on workforce planning, hiring, retention, and employee engagement initiatives Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Manage operational budgets, expenses, and financial performance Conduct operational walkthroughs throughout the day. Conduct regular housekeeping inspections for quality and park audits for consistency. Support onboarding and training initiatives to strengthen operational capabilities Qualifications 5+ years of progressive operations leadership experience within hospitality, housekeeping, facilities services, environmental services, or a related industry Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Proven ability to lead through other leaders and develop high-performing teams Strong understanding of labor management, scheduling, productivity, and operational metrics Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills Experience managing client partnerships and service-level expectations Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight operations as needed Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting hospitality, resorts, entertainment venues, theme parks, or large-scale commercial operations Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Operations Management, or related field preferred Experience with workforce management systems and operational reporting tools Spanish speaking preferred Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
