Position Summary The Janitorial Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple commercial cleaning accounts and field personnel. This individual will spend the majority of their time in the field conducting inspections, training employees, supporting supervisors and lead technicians, meeting with clients, resolving service issues, and ensuring every account meets company quality standards. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing commercial janitorial operations. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations for multiple commercial cleaning accounts. Conduct routine quality inspections and document findings. Ensure all accounts meet company cleaning standards and client expectations. Train, coach, and develop supervisors, lead technicians, and cleaning staff. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee performance management. Coordinate employee schedules, shift coverage, and staffing needs. Respond promptly to client concerns and resolve service issues professionally. Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction. Perform site walkthroughs and identify opportunities for improvement. Monitor labor hours and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and policies. Assist with supply management and inventory control. Support new account startups and employee training. Work closely with company leadership to improve operational performance. Be available to respond to operational emergencies when necessary. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience in commercial janitorial services, commercial cleaning, facilities management, or a related industry. Commercial janitorial management experience is strongly preferred. Bilingual English and Spanish preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently. Comfortable using smartphones, Google Workspace, scheduling software, and basic computer applications. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation. Ability to travel throughout Los Angeles County.
