About the role Linic is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Site Operations Supervisor to own day-to-day UAV (drone) logistics at our field sites. You will be the primary on-site point of contact - overseeing site readiness, leading a small team of Site Operations Specialists, and coordinating closely with our partners at SMS and Wing to keep operations running smoothly, safely, and on schedule. What you'll do Oversee site setup, preparation, and daily readiness for UAV operations Organize and distribute daily work instructions; conduct regular operational reviews Supervise, train, and qualify Site Operations Specialists using Linic, SMS, and Wing procedures Manage site maintenance, troubleshooting, and inventory of UAVs, supplies, and equipment Ensure full compliance with FAA, DOT, and company UAV safety standards Maintain operational logs & incident reports, and provide regular updates to program leadership Identify and implement process improvements to drive site efficiency What we're looking for: Required Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience managing field or operations teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task outdoor environment Technical aptitude — comfortable with inventory systems, reporting tools, and site troubleshooting Able to lift up to 75 lbs; comfortable with variable schedules based on operational needs Preferred Experience in drone / UAV operations or logistics FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate Working conditions Outdoor, field-based environment Extended standing, walking, and lifting (up to 75 lbs) Variable schedule based on site operational needs About Linic Freight Founded on a service-first mindset in 2007, Linic is a nationwide logistics company in an active growth phase.
