Company Description Sutherlin Automotive Group is a privately owned, family-rooted automotive dealership group led by Owner and CEO Brett Sutherlin, who acquired McKenna Subaru in Huntington Beach, rebranding it as Sutherlin Subaru of Huntington Beach and marking the company's bold entry into the Southern California market Known for its customer-focused approach, integrity-first philosophy, tech-forward operations, and commitment to exceptional service, Sutherlin Automotive Group emphasizes streamlined experiences, and continues to grow through strategic acquisitions while prioritizing long-term partnerships and operational excellence BDC Director We are seeking an elite, driven, and results-oriented BDC Director to build and lead a high-performance Business Development Center serving our Kia and Subaru dealerships. This is not a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo—it's an opportunity for a leader who thrives on building winning teams, creating processes from the ground up, and setting new benchmarks for performance. What You'll Do Design, build, and launch a world-class BDC operation from the ground up. Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team of BDC representatives. Create a culture built on accountability, urgency, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. Develop and implement best-in-class processes for handling internet leads, phone calls, chat, text, email, equity mining, orphan owner follow-up, and service-to-sales opportunities. Establish performance metrics, daily accountability, and KPI tracking to maximize appointments, show rates, sold units, and customer satisfaction. Partner with General Managers, Sales Managers, Marketing, and Fixed Operations to drive consistent growth across both dealerships. Ensure every customer interaction reflects a premium buying experience while maximizing conversion opportunities. Monitor CRM activity, reporting, lead management, and follow-up processes to ensure no opportunity is missed. Continuously improve scripts, workflows, training programs, and technology to increase efficiency and results. Lead by example with energy, integrity, urgency, and a relentless commitment to excellence. Experience building or significantly improving BDC operations. Strong leadership with a track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.
