Role:

Bright Horizon Care LLC is looking for an experienced and driven Mitigation Supervisor/Superintendent to lead our restoration crews in Huntington Beach, CA. This is your opportunity to take charge on the front lines of water, fire, and mold mitigation projects while making a real difference for clients during their most stressful moments. Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage day-to-day mitigation operations including water extraction, structural drying, fire damage, and mold remediation projects Supervise, mentor, and coordinate field technicians to ensure efficient and safe job site performance Conduct site inspections and moisture assessments to develop and execute effective mitigation scoping plans Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with IICRC standards and industry best practices Communicate project status, documentation, and progress reports to project managers, adjusters, and clients Manage equipment inventory, placement, and monitoring across multiple active job sites Maintain accurate job documentation including moisture logs, photos, and drying reports

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in water, fire, or mold mitigation with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, or AMRT) strongly preferred Strong knowledge of drying science, psychrometrics, and mitigation equipment operation Proven ability to lead crews, manage multiple job sites, and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, insurance adjusters, and team members Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable transportation required Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as emergency response demands
