Job Description

Overview Flux Consulting Group is seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Shift Lead to oversee event operations. This role is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating parking operations, and ensuring all on-site activities run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, well-organized, and confident in leading a team while maintaining clear and professional communication with both team members and management. The Shift Lead is expected to develop a strong understanding of each venue's parking operations and adapt quickly to meet operational needs. This position plays a key role in maintaining structure, enforcing standards, and ensuring all procedures are executed accurately during events. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support team members to ensure proper coverage and performance during shifts Oversee parking operations, including traffic flow and guest interactions Verify and enforce approved parking lists and access control procedures Conduct and report accurate car counts by designated areas or levels Ensure proper cone placement and traffic control setup based on event needs Manage and track all operational equipment and devices before, during, and after shifts Enforce company policies, including uniform standards, attendance, and conduct expectations Maintain a strong on-site presence and lead by example in professionalism and work ethic Communicate effectively with management regarding any operational updates, issues, or incidents Ensure all team members are following proper clock-in/out procedures and break policies Qualifications Must be 18 years or older Must have a valid driver's license Must have open availability, including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays Open availability and flexibility to work across multiple event locations within the Los Angeles area is a strict requirement for this position Prior leadership or supervisory experience is required Reliable, organized, and proactive leadership style Strong communication and time management skills Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience (Not Required) Experience in operations, event staffing, parking management, or a similar leadership role Understanding of process improvement and team coordination Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team Experience working with operational tools, reporting systems, or event-based technology is a plus

Are you able to consistently meet and uphold the required attire (black polo, all-black shoes, non-faded pants)? This position requires maintaining professionalism while managing staff and interacting with management and guests. Are you able to consistently uphold these standards throughout your shift?
