In-Office Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and dependable Senior Logistics Operations Supervisor to oversee daily logistics and transportation operations and lead a team of logistics professionals. This position will be responsible for coordinating workflow, monitoring team performance, ensuring shipments and transportation activities are handled efficiently, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, and operations , strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of transportation industry rules, regulations, and operational procedures. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead daily operations for logistics and transportation teams. Assign tasks, manage workloads, and ensure team members meet operational deadlines. Monitor transportation activities, shipments, schedules, and overall workflow. Coordinate with drivers, carriers, customers, vendors, and internal departments. Ensure shipments are processed accurately and delivered according to established schedules. Monitor and resolve operational issues, delays, damages, discrepancies, and other transportation-related problems. Ensure employees follow company procedures, safety requirements, and operational policies. Maintain a strong understanding of applicable transportation rules, regulations, and industry standards. Review and maintain transportation and logistics documentation. Monitor team performance and provide coaching, guidance, and feedback. Train new and existing employees on operational procedures and policies. Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs. Communicate important operational updates to management and other departments. Assist management with developing and implementing processes, procedures, and performance standards. Ensure accurate and timely completion of reports, records, and other required documentation. Handle escalated customer, carrier, or operational issues professionally and efficiently. Promote a professional, organized, safe, and team-oriented work environment. Qualifications 3-5 years of prior experience in logistics, transportation, or operations. Bilingual in Mandarin Previous supervisory or team-lead experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations. Knowledge of transportation industry rules, regulations, and compliance requirements. Experience coordinating shipments, deliveries, carriers, drivers, or transportation schedules. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems. Ability to work effectively with employees, drivers, carriers, customers, and management. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently while also providing effective leadership to a team.
