We develop musicians of all ages (from 2 years to adults) who enjoy performing, utilizing our private lesson rooms, vocal rooms, piano rooms, and performance/theater stage. We strive provide an opportunity to work in a fun and hip yet professional environment with professional musicians and dedicated and ambitious students. The position requires between 30 - 38 hours per week , with the preliminary schedule being in the afternoons, with weekends off. Responsibilities Promote guidance and information to parents and to students; communicating and consulting with other members of the school staff and with parents to ensure the best interest of the students. Partners with leadership to secure student recruitment and retention for private lessons, bands, and classes. Responsible for oversight and management of front desk duties and reception area. Administers daily renewals, billing, enrollments and schedule changes. Responsible for the timely opening and closing of the site as well as ensuring that site is in good working order. Greets clients and prospective clients in a polite and courteous manner. Plans and assists with preparations for Academy recitals and shows. Understand the Academy billing policies and complete billing activities on a monthly basis. Complete pre-marketing activities for new program launches and foster community relationships. Gather student feedback and ensure that students are happy with their lessons, while proactively addressing any potential issues. Requirements An interest in music and music education; Ability to interface successfully with the public; Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment ; Excellent oral and written communication skills skills in order to facilitate good working relationships with faculty and staff and to interact with students and parents; Ability to provide information to prospective parents and show them the benefits of music lessons; Ability to work well with young people in a fast paced environment; Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population; Proficiency with MS Office, Word and Excel; Quick learner who is reliable, consistent, and ambitious; Tech-savvy individual willing to learn new systems; Drivers license and own mode of transportation; Typing speed above 50 WPM;
