Warehouse Operations Manager Accountable to: CEO & President Job summary: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize day-to-day activities across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional communication skills, strong leadership, unwavering integrity , and the ability to thrive under pressure while ensuring efficient operations and a positive team culture. Responsible for all areas of the facility by directing and supervising staff in receiving, shipping; sorting, recycling and test areas.
Responsibilities/daily tasks:
  • Oversees operation of warehouse Manages shipping and receiving.
Sets daily assignments and goals to each department in warehouse. Oversees warehouse department leads, warehouse team and training Manages and monitors procedures for safety and housekeeping of the warehouse Responsible for managing maintenance of equipment in warehouse Prepares lists of finished goods for sales Hiring/Interviewing Maintain personnel management and suggest increase and reduction in work force as needed Assist in maintaining customer accounts Ensure inventory is within acceptable limits Adhere to all legal and ethical requirements Make key decisions on operational strategies within warehouse Assist with program management Assist with compliance certification Continuous improvement Open / close facility and get team started for the day Lead and supervise daily operations to ensure productivity, quality, and efficiency goals are met Communicate effectively across teams and with upper management Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce operational risks Maintain high standards of integrity, accountability, and professionalism Resolve conflicts and challenges swiftly, especially in high-pressure situations Train, coach, and mentor team members to promote growth and development Prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and report on operational performance Oversee daily warehouse and operations activities across departments Manage and lead the ITAD department, including production flow, inventory control, asset tracking, and data destruction processes Ensure proper handling, testing, grading, auditing, and disposition of electronic assets Lead ITAD team members, supervisors, and production staff to meet operational goals and customer requirements Monitor KPIs, turnaround times, productivity, quality control, and operational performance within the ITAD department Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics related to ITAD processing and customer shipments Ensure compliance with R2V3, NAID, data security, environmental, and company operational standards Support process improvements, reporting accuracy, ERP/inventory system utilization, and workflow optimization Collaborate with leadership to improve operational structure, accountability, and department efficiency Maintain a strong focus on safety, organization, and operational excellence in a fast-paced warehouse environment Job Specifications

  • Additional hours required for travel and events
  • Ability to travel when necessary
  • High degree of interpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with differ sets of people both internally and externally

Education/ Training:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree (required) with an emphasis on logistics, supply chain management or business administration (is preferred)
  • 3+ years' experience in a warehouse lead role managing hourly employees
  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to work with all levels of company staff
  • Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
Qualifications:
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases Strong Leadership skills and ability manage staff Strong decision making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Knowledge in logistics, supply chain management or business administration The warehouse manager should also pose the following skills:
