Job DescriptionJob Description What you will be doing: Financial Close and Reporting Review monthly accounting close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analytical review of operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained. Implement, document, and maintain efficient processes to improve the close and reporting cycles, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Responsible for meeting all financial and tax reporting requirements for corporate consolidation, including the issuance of month-end reports and financial analysis. Responsible for maintaining daily financial reporting and weekly KPI deliverables. Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly P&L and cash flow forecasting. Support the preparation of the annual budget. Internal Controls and Compliance Implement, document, and maintain a strong system of internal controls. Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures. Support internal and external audits. Inventory Management Manage cost accounting and the inventory subledger, including the annual overhead rate change and periodic cost rolls. Lead physical inventory counts and analyze inventory adjustments and reserves. Team Management Supervise the AR Specialist and AP support staff. Lead performance management and professional development for direct reports. Operational Support Provide financial and operational guidance to improve business efficiency. Present financial justifications for capital expenditures. Safeguard assets and oversee periodic physical inventories of fixed assets. Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What you need to qualify:
5+ years of progressive manufacturing accounting/finance experience, including supervisory responsibilities. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in database and accounting systems. Bachelor's degree, Finance or Accounting required. ERP system conversion experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, cost accounting, and government contract compliance. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.DISCLAIMER
