Our fleet includes Tesla Model 3, Model Y, and other vehicles serving guests throughout the Bay Area. You will own vehicle readiness, guest experience, maintenance coordination, and operating efficiency. As the fleet grows, you will build repeatable processes and manage the team that keeps every trip running smoothly.
Responsibilities Manage daily operations:
Coordinate reservations, vehicle assignments, pickups, returns, and approved delivery locations.
Keep vehicles trip-ready:
Oversee cleaning, charging or fueling, inspections, and required check-in and checkout photos.
Support guests:
Handle messages, access instructions, trip changes, late returns, and roadside issues professionally.
Maintain the fleet:
Schedule maintenance, tire replacements, repairs, and recalls; track vehicle condition and downtime.
Handle incidents:
Document damage, coordinate with repair shops, and submit accurate claims and supporting evidence within applicable deadlines.
Manage the team:
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise cleaners, drivers, and operations staff as needed.
Control costs:
Track expenses, manage vendors, review invoices, and reduce avoidable spending.
Improve performance:
Monitor pricing, availability, utilization, and earnings; recommend changes that improve fleet profitability.
Build operating processes:
Maintain clear procedures, vehicle records, inventory controls, and weekly reporting.
Support expansion:
Coordinate onboarding and preparation of newly acquired vehicles. Qualifications Experience in fleet management, car rental, hospitality, logistics, or another operations-focused business. Ability to independently prioritize tasks and resolve time-sensitive problems. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Comfortable using spreadsheets, mobile apps, scheduling tools, and vehicle-management systems. Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurance requirements. Willingness to perform hands-on tasks, including vehicle inspections, repositioning, and occasional cleaning. Availability for scheduled weekend and evening coverage. Preferred Experience Managing a Turo fleet or operating a car rental business. Working with Tesla vehicles, EV charging, and remote vehicle access. Supervising staff and coordinating outside vendors. Managing maintenance, damage documentation, and claims. Using data to improve pricing, utilization, and operating margins. What Success Looks Like Vehicles are clean, safe, and ready before each trip. Guests receive timely communication and reliable pickups. Maintenance and claims are documented and handled promptly. Vehicle downtime and controllable costs stay within agreed targets. Weekly reports clearly show fleet performance, expenses, and outstanding issues. Operations remain dependable as the fleet grows.
Pay:
$30.00 - $100.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week
