This dual-role position combines exceptional guest experiences in the tasting room with administrative and customer-service support for our wine club. The ideal candidate is passionate about wine, enjoys connecting with people, and can confidently transition between providing warm, knowledgeable hospitality and handling behind-the-scenes wine club responsibilities. Tasting Room Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide a warm, personalized tasting experience. Conduct wine tastings and share knowledge about Carr Winery and our wines. Recommend wines and assist guests with purchases. Promote wine club membership and winery events. Process sales and wine club transactions through the POS system. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming tasting room. Assist with events, tours, and other winery activities. Help with opening, closing, restocking, and general tasting room duties. Wine Club Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day wine club administration. Respond to wine club member questions by phone, email, and in person. Process new memberships, cancellations, address changes, and account updates. Assist with wine club shipments, pickups, and special orders. Prepare wine club orders and member materials. Help communicate upcoming releases, events, and member benefits. Maintain accurate wine club records and customer information. Provide excellent service to wine club members and help build long-term relationships. Assist with wine club events and promotions. Qualifications Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service oriented. Interest in wine and willingness to learn. Strong communication and organizational skills. Detail-oriented and able to multitask. Comfortable working with POS systems, email, and basic computer programs. Previous tasting room, wine, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience preferred.
