Job Description:

Director of Mortgage Operations & Product Strategy ???? $150K-$300K annually , depending on experience and scope ???? Cupertino, CA | Full-Time | 100% On-Site | 5 Days/Week This is a unique opportunity for someone who can combine mortgage operations leadership with product strategy and business growth. The Director will have significant influence over how the platform scales, from improving day-to-day loan execution to expanding lender relationships and mortgage products.

What You'll Own:

Lead the end-to-end mortgage pipeline from application through processing, underwriting, closing, funding and post-closing Improve turn times, pull-through, closing efficiency, productivity and operational controls Build scalable SOPs, KPIs, SLAs and quality-control processes Lead and develop the mortgage operations team Evaluate and expand conventional, jumbo and non-QM products Develop and manage wholesale lender relationships Monitor lender pricing, guidelines, overlays and market changes Identify new products and lending solutions based on borrower demand Partner with sales, underwriting, processing, marketing, technology and executive leadership Help improve mortgage technology, automation and workflow systems Provide leadership with pipeline analytics, capacity planning and growth recommendations

Ideal Background:

7+ years of residential mortgage experience Strong mortgage operations / pipeline management background Deep knowledge of conventional and non-QM lending California mortgage market experience; Bay Area/Silicon Valley strongly preferred Experience with DSCR, bank statement, asset-based, foreign national, investor and/or jumbo lending Existing wholesale lender relationships are a major plus Experience building or scaling a mortgage operation Strong leadership and process-improvement experience Comfortable leveraging LOS, CRM, mortgage technology and automation If you're a mortgage operations leader looking for an opportunity where you can have a direct impact on operations, products, lender strategy and overall growth , I'd love to connect.
