Job Description

This position is for a part time RELIEF night manager who can manage shifts that are evenings, graveyard, and then some weekend days, for an apartment complex for seniors and mobility impaired individuals. Relief of office staff at 4 pm on week days. Shifts are 4-12 midnight and midnight to 8 A.M. With 3 shifts on the weekend. (day
  • 8 to 4 P.M., evening
  • 4 to 12 midnight, and night
  • midnight to 8 A.
M. ). The Relief Worker writes a log report each shift, putting down on paper, what actually was happening on the property.
Duties include:
besides the log report, assisting residents with lockouts, monitor security cameras, make rounds of the building, handle minor maintenance problems, i.e. unclog toilet or sink, garbage disposals, replace burn out light bulbs, hand out flyers and memo's , open office for delivery of mail, take out the trash. Bilingual is a plus, but not required. Our employees do not provide medical services. You will facilitate entry for emergency medical response teams, such as opening lobby doors and unlocking the apartment of the person needing help. At the beginning, the hours will be limited, but as time passes, vacations come up, sick days, and emergencies pop up. (2 previous hires are working 4 or 5 shifts a week now). It takes a special individual to take a job that is as varied as this is, and also be able to adjust to the night shift, starting at midnight.
