Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Operations to lead our organizational functions and drive operational excellence across all departments. The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing complex business operations, implementing organizational change, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As the Director of Operations, you will oversee implementation of strategic plans, process optimization, financial management, and team leadership to ensure the organization achieves its goals efficiently and effectively. This role offers an opportunity to influence organizational growth, streamline processes, and impact how children gain access to therapeutic services. Position Responsibilities
Operational Efficiency:
Monitor daily business and administrative activities and overall site performance across locations, ensuring quality service delivery, smooth operations, and compliance with all policies, procedures, professional standards, laws, and regulatory requirements.Financial Oversight:
Assist with budget monitoring and cash flow, control costs, and improve financial performance.Site & Staffing Oversight:
Monitor site performance, daily business activities, and staffing needs across locations.Growth:
Drive multi-site clinic expansion, including new-location launches. Capacity Management Work with the Clinical Manager and Clinical Coordinators on capacity management, with a focus on quality and meeting company standards for service delivery.- Optimize therapist schedules to minimize gaps and maintain clinician utilization above 85%.
- Identify staffing needs and balance the clinical staff mix between full-time and part-time therapists.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and guidance of therapy team members. Revenue Cycle Oversight
- Oversee and support accounts receivable, revenue cycle management, insurance credentialing, and Medicaid/private-pay structures.
- Assure appropriate billing and chart audits. Required Qualifications
Degree:
A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) is preferred. With significant experience, a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management, or a related field may be considered.- At least 3 years of experience in an operational leadership position in a healthcare practice, with demonstrated involvement in executing growth strategies. Healthcare experience preferably in outpatient pediatric therapy, including familiarity with pediatric practice management software and payroll platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and durable skills in order to manage clinical/service environments while keeping therapy staff turnover low, balanced with the administrative discipline needed to maintain productivity standards. Compensation
Base Salary:
From $95,000 depending on experience.- Performance Bonus tied to key KPIs.
