We are a South Florida restoration company specializing in water mitigation, mold remediation, emergency response, roof tarping, and related restoration services. We are looking for a seasoned restoration professional who can step into a leadership role, help manage jobs from start to finish, sell new work, supervise crews, and help us build something long-term. This is not just a "clock in, clock out" position. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of the company's growth, take ownership, and eventually earn into a larger upside opportunity through performance-based incentives and potential profit sharing. About the Role The Operations Manager will be a key leader inside Orca Restoration. You will be involved in field operations, sales, estimating, scheduling, team supervision, and business development. A strong fit for this role is someone who understands the restoration industry, can walk a property with confidence, knows how to speak with homeowners, property managers, insurance professionals, plumbers, roofers, and other referral partners, and can also make sure the work gets done properly in the field. You should be comfortable both selling the job and supervising the job. Responsibilities Respond to potential leads and perform on-site inspections. Scope water, mold, fire, and related restoration projects. Sell restoration services to homeowners, property managers, commercial clients, and referral partners. Help prepare estimates, scopes, documentation, and job plans. Supervise active projects and make sure crews follow proper procedures. Coordinate scheduling with technicians, subcontractors, and customers. Help maintain strong job documentation, photos, notes, moisture readings, and project updates. Communicate professionally with customers throughout the job. Assist with hiring, training, and managing field team members as the company grows. Support business development efforts, including referral relationships with plumbers, roofers, property managers, realtors, insurance agents, and community networking groups. Potentially represent Orca Restoration in a BNI chapter or similar business networking group. Help identify and pursue fire restoration opportunities, including emergency board-up, smoke, odor, contents, and structural restoration leads. Bring ideas, leadership, and accountability to help improve company systems and operations. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who has real experience in the restoration industry and is ready to take on a leadership role.
The ideal candidate has:
Experience in water mitigation, mold remediation, and/or fire restoration. Experience supervising restoration jobs and leading crews. Strong ability to inspect, scope, explain, and sell restoration projects. Comfort speaking with homeowners, adjusters, property managers, and referral partners. Ability to manage multiple projects at once. Strong communication and follow-up skills. A professional appearance and customer-first attitude. A self-starter mentality. The desire to grow with a company long-term.
Preferred but not required:
Florida Mold Remediator License. IICRC certifications such as WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, OCT, or related credentials. Xactimate experience. Fire restoration, smoke, odor, board-up, or contents experience. Existing industry relationships in South Florida. Experience developing referral relationships or networking through groups like BNI.
Compensation This role will include:
