Duties Plan, organize, and facilitate diverse youth group activities that promote personal growth, teamwork, and community involvement. Coordinate membership enrollment processes, ensuring smooth registration and ongoing engagement of participants. Oversee daily site operations at designated youth program locations, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all children and teens. Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions and resolve conflicts effectively. Lead outdoor activities and camp experiences that encourage outdoor work skills, physical activity, and environmental awareness. Ensure all safety protocols are followed by maintaining certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and adhering to first aid procedures. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and community partners to support the developmental needs of youth participants. Skills Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage children of various ages in structured activities. Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings; familiarity with childhood development principles. Knowledge of special education needs and behavior management techniques tailored for diverse learners. Proven leadership abilities in youth group activity facilitation and team supervision. Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols are highly desirable. Experience with camp activities, outdoor work environments, theater or arts programs enhances program delivery. Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, staff, and community partners; Christian counseling or youth mentoring experience is a plus.
