Plant Operations Manager

A Local behavioral healthcare provider has an immediate opening for a Plant Operations Manager. Behavioral Health Experience is Necessary. Spanish as a secondary language would be helpful in this position.

Position Description :

To oversee Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Purchasing Departments. To direct the operation of security and overall safety. Responsibilities include but not limited to: 1. Directs the operation of the building security system and overall hospital safety. 2. Recognizes and takes appropriate actions regarding any violation of facility policies and/or procedures, especially those which may compromise safety. 3. Follows hospital policies and procedures. 4. Responds positively to changing situations in the work setting. 5. Demonstrates an ability to perform in a professional manner and role models a positive image. 6. Consistently reports appropriate information to hospital Administrator or designee, especially when related to client care, equipment malfunction and supply needs. 7. Reports all incidents and completes incident reports promptly and accurately. 8. Participates in head committees and improvement activities. 9. Respects and safeguards client's rights to privacy and personal dignity. 10. Complies with Joint commission, AHCA and other standards. 11. Accepts all other duties assigned by Administrator. 12. Directs maintenance and housekeeping functions to assure a safe, clean and sanitary environment. 13. Works with infection control nurse on maintenance and housekeeping issues related to infection control. 14. Responsible for oversight of equipment and building supply purchases. 15. Negotiates contracts with Administrator approval. 16. Communicates departmental issues to Administrator. 17. Serves as Hospital Safety Officer. 18. Has knowledge of bio-hazardous waste and disposal procedures. 19. Monitoring accuracy of material safety data sheets. 20.

Light Maintenance Education/Experience :

Bachelor's or Technical degree preferred. Management/supervisory experience a plus. Must have a valid Driver's License. CPR certified.

Work Experience:

• Five (5) years of experience in Plant Ops Department and Supervisory Skills preferred.
