Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Operations Manager to lead our retail operations with enthusiasm and precision. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail management, and a comprehensive understanding of operational processes. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the retail team to ensure smooth daily operations, including shift management and staff scheduling Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to maximize sales opportunities Manage purchasing, pricing strategies, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accurate transactions and financial integrity Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to foster a motivated and knowledgeable team Handle customer service issues with professionalism, ensuring high satisfaction levels and resolving complaints promptly Coordinate recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates and participating in hiring decisions for store staff Maintain operational compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations including payroll processing and bookkeeping Requirements Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with a strong background in sales team leadership Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, purchasing, inventory management, and cash handling Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with POS systems, retail math calculations, and basic bookkeeping practices Experience in training employees on customer service standards, sales techniques, and operational procedures Ability to manage budgets, perform basic math accurately, and oversee payroll processes Previous assistant manager or managerial experience in the retail industry is highly desirable Knowledge of wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous but not required Join us as an Operations Manager where your leadership will shape the success of our store!
