Summary:
The Operations Supervisor supports the day-to-day functions of the operations departments, ensuring attentive, efficient, and guest-focused service. This role helps to drive departmental performance, compliance with brand standards, and high-quality guest experience while supporting team leadership and training.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure friendly, responsive, and professional service to all guests and internal customers. Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when assigned, ensuring smooth operations and high service standards across departments. Resolve guest complaints promptly; anticipate service issues by monitoring feedback, team performance, and business flow. Support hotel teams in delivering exceptional service and achieving guest satisfaction scores. Collaborate with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure room readiness, cleanliness, and guest preferences are met. Maintain systems and equipment across Front Office, Parking, and F&B for peak performance and safety. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, and communication to ensure team alignment and performance. Conduct daily shift briefings, attend departmental and all-employee meetings, and participate in ongoing training efforts. Maintain proper staffing levels and scheduling based on occupancy and business need Use PMS and POS systems effectively for reporting, transactions, and service support. Oversee chargebacks, cash handling, and inventory processes; maintain accurate records and par levels. Support food and beverage operations including menu knowledge, presentation standards, and sanitation compliance. Ensure all documentation, purchasing records, and logs are properly maintained and organized. Comply with certification requirements such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR/First Aid. Handle lost and found items per policy and maintain key control systems.
