We also run custom tours beyond downtown. We're a small, owner-operated team that cares about great guest experiences, well-told history, and a well-run operation behind the scenes. The Role We're looking for an organized, steady person to be the hub of our daily operations . You'll support the office, the field, and our content work, and you'll cross-train in dispatch so our operations stay covered and will serve as dispatch on assigned days. On a small team, roles evolve quickly, and your responsibilities will grow and shift as you learn the business. In an owner-led company, decisions sometimes move through a few hands and priorities can change fast. We need someone who stays calm through that, keeps things moving, and owns their work without needing constant direction. Once you're trained, you'll be trusted to make day-of calls: reassigning guides and vehicles, rescheduling guests, and solving problems as they come up. Multi-tasking without the degradation of guest service is an absolute must. What You'll Do Dispatch Support and Day-of Logistics Cross-train in dispatch and cover daily operations: assign guides and vehicles, confirm departures, and keep tours on schedule. Adjust in real time for weather, late guests, vehicle issues, and schedule changes, and keep guides and guests informed. Coordinate vehicle readiness, charging, and staging across our garage locations. Escalate problems to the Manager when needed and document incidents. Bookings and Guest Communication Manage reservations, changes, cancellations, and private or custom tour requests by booking through our system or passing them off management where applicable. Answer phones and the general inbox promptly and warmly, turning inquiries into bookings when possible. Send confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups to guests. Office and Administration Maintain spreadsheets for daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Handle general office tasks such as filing, supply tracking, and data entry. Provide support to Management in an ever evolving company. Field Support and Errands Help in person with guest check-in, vehicle staging, and guide support when needed. Run operational errands, including delivering paperwork and supplies between our garage locations and doing supply runs. Staff community events, booths, and partner activations. Other duties as assigned Content Support Capture photos and short videos of tours, guides, and events for social media. Help gather content and information for posts, reviews, and marketing updates. What You Bring Customer service, hospitality, dispatch, or office experience (tourism is a plus). Strong organization and the ability to juggle phones, email, and changing schedules at once.
Confidence to own your responsibilities:
you follow through, check in, and close the loop without waiting to be asked. You take direct feedback in stride and keep a sense of humor. Clear, friendly communication by phone, text, and email, including asking for clarity when you need it. Comfort with Excel Spreadhseets and willingness to learn our booking system. Familiarity with Savannah's Historic District, or excitement to learn it. Basic comfort with a smartphone camera to capture video and photos as needed for the social media team. Requirements Available to work weekends and holidays, when tours are busiest. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Savannah, GA resident.
