Full-Time, On-Site Kabuki Okazuya is seeking a trustworthy, organized and detail-oriented Operations and Accounting Coordinator to assist ownership with daily financial reporting, cash reconciliation, bookkeeping, inventory purchasing and restaurant administration. This is a hands-on position requiring accuracy, confidentiality and the ability to complete important daily responsibilities without constant supervision. Primary Responsibilities Enter daily sales and operating information into the company's Google spreadsheet. Keep financial reports updated every business day. Provide ownership with yesterday's, week-to-date, and month-to-date results. Track sales, labor costs, food costs, discounts, refunds, voids and unusual activity. Count and reconcile cash from all registers. Compare cash and payment totals against the point-of-sale system. Investigate and report cash shortages or overages. Prepare daily bank deposits and maintain deposit records. Prepare two cashier bags containing exactly $712 each for the following business day. Enter and organize vendor invoices in QuickBooks. Assist with payroll records, employee tip reporting, health-insurance paperwork and unemployment matters. Calculate and document employee tip distributions according to company policy. Monitor inventory and order food, packaging and operating supplies. Communicate with vendors regarding orders, invoices, shortages and pricing. Compare inventory usage with sales and report unusual differences. Identify best-selling and slow-selling menu items. Assist ownership with business-related administrative tasks and special projects. Maintain the confidentiality of company, employee and financial information. Qualifications Experience with bookkeeping, accounting support, office administration or business operations. Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. Experience handling cash, reconciling registers or reviewing financial reports. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently. Dependable, honest, and comfortable handling confidential information. Restaurant, food-service, retail or hospitality experience is preferred. Schedule Full-time, approximately 38-40 hours per week. This is an on-site position at Kabuki Okazuya in Aiea. Early-morning availability may be required based on restaurant operations. Compensation $25

•30 per hour, depending on experience. This is an hourly W-2 employee position. All hours worked must be accurately recorded. Health coverage is offered when the employee becomes eligible under the company plan and applicable Hawaii law.
