Job Description Job Description Job Description Snapshot / Role Overview We're seeking a Construction Safety Director in Honolulu to lead health and safety across large commercial and industrial projects and build a zero-incident culture. Impact Drive a zero-incident culture through consistent field presence. Reduce recordables with proactive hazard identification. Keep the company fully compliant with OSHA, Hawaii HIOSH, and DOT. Responsibilities Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans, activity hazard analyses, and lift plans. Conduct scheduled and unannounced inspections and drive corrective actions. Lead incident investigations using root-cause methods.
Deliver training:
new hire, toolbox talks, and competent person. Manage OSHA recordkeeping, regulatory inspections, and reporting. Manage workers' compensation claims with leadership and outside partners. Represent the company at audits and industry safety forums. Must-Haves Seven to ten years of progressive construction safety leadership. OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification. Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification. Strong knowledge of 29 CFR 1926, DOT, and Hawaii HIOSH regulations. Valid driver's license. Nice-to-Haves CSP or CHST certification. Federal or DOD construction experience. Compensation and Logistics Competitive salary depending on experience, plus insurance and a vehicle or allowance.
