Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership for our housing and employment services programs, with a strong focus on strengthening case management practices, ensuring service excellence, and achieving meaningful participant outcomes. This position leads managers and teams responsible for helping individuals and families secure housing, achieve employment goals, and move toward greater self-sufficiency. Through operational leadership, staff development, performance management, and continuous quality improvement, you will help ensure services are effective, outcome-driven, and responsive to community needs. In This Role, You Will Provide strategic and operational leadership for the agency's housing and employment services programs. Champion case management excellence and ensure high-quality, outcome-driven service delivery that supports housing stability, employment success, and self-sufficiency. Lead, develop, and support managers and teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Utilize data, performance measures, and continuous improvement practices to strengthen program effectiveness and participant outcomes. Oversee program budgets, grant performance, compliance requirements, and operational effectiveness. Build and strengthen partnerships with landlords, employers, support service providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration or a related field (equivalent combinations of education and experience). Five or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience in homeless services, housing, human services, workforce development, case management, or a related field. Three or more years of supervisory experience. Experience overseeing effective case management services and outcome-driven service delivery. Experience managing programs, budgets, and grant-funded initiatives. Demonstrated leadership, team development, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. Experience using data and performance measures to drive results. Knowledge of Housing First, trauma-informed care, and person-centered approaches. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn program databases and reporting systems.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in related field. Experience working with individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Experience overseeing housing, employment, or other community-based human service programs. Experience managing federally, state, and/or locally funded programs. Experience leading quality improvement, program expansion, or organizational change initiatives.Additional Requirements:
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record. Ability to travel throughout the service area as needed. Successful completion of a criminal background check and other screenings.
