Finding families a place to stay when they need it right now, right away, in an emergency. Primus Temporary Housing, located in Oak Brook, Illinois, offers full-service emergency temporary housing services to personal-line insurance carriers. The insurance company engages us to help people when a house burns or is flooded past the ability to remain in residence. This is a rewarding, fast-paced job. We work extensively on the phone with hotel chains, real estate professionals, corporate housing providers and the public, so we need from you: a service mentality, high motivation, a positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and lots of attention to detail. This position reports to our Oak Brook office, Monday thru Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm. Hotel, hospitality, real estate, or equivalent customer service experience is required. Your voice, grammar, and communication (oral and written) must be professional, upbeat, and effective at all times. Some after-hours calls and follow-up will be required, but we compensate or make up for extra time. Responsibilities:
Communication with displaced policyholders to arrange hotel stays Researching available rental properties Working with landlords Coordinating leases, extensions, notice to vacate Answering phones and assisting customers Assist with daily operations After-hours follow up, as necessary Other duties as required
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
College degree and equivalent work experience, required Hotel or hospitality experience, required 3+ years' experience in customer service, required Real estate or property management experience, preferred Computer application experience, especially MS Office Contact management software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) Customer interaction via phone and email Dedicated and compassionate Organized and detail oriented Clear written and spoken communications in English Benefits include paid time off (PTO), Blue Cross Blue Shield, Dental, 401K with match.
