Description Summary:

The operational lead position is responsible for providing day-to-day back-up for the Profit Center Manager and for leading the operations side of our Contractor and Construction business. Looking for a forward thinking, problem solver, interested in helping manage our team and grow our business.

Reports to:

Profit Center Manager Minimum Qualifications:

+ College Degree or 5 years of relevant work experience + Proven work experience in a management role

Additional Competencies:

+ Attention to detail - approaches work in a meticulous, thorough and detailed manner

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Two or more years of Operations Management Experience + Two or more years experience leading a team of 10 or larger + Electrical Distribution or similar Distribution experience

Working Conditions:

Standard office environment and distribution warehouse environment. Most days will be spent in the office but there will be time spent working with our warehouse and logistics team in the warehouse.

One of the most important responsibilities of an Operation Manager is leading our inside team and supervising daily operations. + Team effort with PC Manager and Sales Manager on recruiting and hiring + Leading daily operations of the business + Recruit, train, and supervise our inside staff, consisting of: Inside Sales, Warehouse/Logistics, and Back-office. + Work together with PC Manager and Sales Manager to grow and expand the business. + Periodic evaluation of current processes and determine areas for improvement. + Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
